juliet brown
Founder & CEO
Juliet is London born and has a heart for reading and travelling. Thirsty for more knowledge of her Caribbean heritage, Juliet studied Mass Communications and Caribbean Studies, at the University of North London. She then undertook a PGCE in Media Education with English, after which she embarked into the education profession.
Juliet is a passionate and accomplished Educator, with over 20 years teaching experience, in various settings, such as main stream secondary, SEN schools, and more recently, alternative provisions, primarily, with students aged 11 to 18 years.
In 2023, she completed the National Professional Qualification for Leading Teaching (NPQLT), recognised by the Department of Education (DfE), verified by the University of Newcastle.
Some of juliet’s achievements
Her achievements include, working as Co-Head of English, responsible for managing Key Stage 4 (GCSE’s) and leading a team of teachers and outreach tutors. Additionally, coordinating the English Centre assessed grades for the whole school in 2020 and 2021, during the Covid -19 pandemic.
She played an instrumental role, in the teaching and learning steering group and was pivotal in introducing and implementing new teaching and learning policies, for remote learning, platforms and applications. She was also an English subject mentor to Early Careers Teachers, throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. This experience enabled Juliet to work in unprecedented circumstances and to be forward thinking and solution focused.
